Jean-Philippe Drouin-Chartier, RD PhD, is assistant professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Laval University and researcher at the NUTRISS (Nutrition, santé et société) Research Centre of INAF (Institut sur la nutrition et les aliments fonctionnels). His research focuses on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases in high-risk populations.
The session aims to describe recent advances and novel applications of metabolomics in nutrition. This includes a description of metabolomics methods, how metabolomics can be leveraged to unravel diet-disease relationships, and how metabolomics can be used to assess diet adherence, both in epidemiological and clinical settings.
